About

South Cambridgeshire District Council awarded a contract to Carmelcrest Limited for small works and repair services across its Facilities managed sites, including South Cambridgeshire Hall, Over Hub, and Great Shelford Hub.

The contract covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry (including locksmith services), painting and decorating, and building and roofing repairs on an ad hoc basis.

It includes standardised hourly labour rates for office hours, out-of-hours, and weekend work, as well as emergency call-out charges with specified response times, and uses a cost-plus pricing strategy for parts and materials.

The initial term is two years, with an option to extend for a further two years at the Council's discretion.

The contract value is £156,600.
