About
Bolton Council awarded a contract to Urban Outreach for the delivery of a boroughwide local welfare provision scheme, call-off from Lot 1 (Adults) of the TC143 All Age Prevention Framework.
The 12-month programme, starting 1st June 2026, provides food support and gas and electricity top-ups to residents experiencing financial hardship, aiming to mitigate food insecurity and fuel poverty.
The scheme, which distributed over 3,500 awards in the previous year, targets vulnerable households including low-income families, older residents, and people with disabilities or long-term health conditions.
The contract value is £107,056, procured under PCR 2015 via a direct award following expressions of interest.
