About

Defra Network eTendering Portal awarded a contract to Burges Salmon LLP for legal services comprising general corporate, finance, and human resources panel services.

The agreement has a term of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 6 months.

AHDB appointed a single supplier to streamline the instruction process for all users within AHDB, regardless of legal background.

AHDB reserved the right to seek advice from specialists, such as smaller, tier 2 legal services firms, for a small number of topics, though the majority of specialist legal advice is intended to be provided by the appointed supplier.

Pensions law advice will move to the new supplier following completion of any ongoing pieces of legal advice from existing suppliers at the time of contract award, anticipated not before 31 December 2021.

The contract value is £300,000.
