About

THE BUSINESS GROWTH HUB LIMITED awarded a contract to Deloitte LLP for in-country representation and support services in India, preferably Bangalore, to attract Indian investment to Greater Manchester.

The scope included delivering the Manchester-India Strategy, such as the 'Make in India, Innovate with Manchester' profile-raising campaign, creating a Manchester-India Entrepreneur Bridge, and developing a company targeting plan.

It also involved building strategic relationships with Indian national and regional government, a senior business network, and cooperative relationships with partners including the Department for International Trade (DIT), UK India Business Council (UKIBC), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce (FICCI).

Additionally, the supplier supported the MIDAS inward investment strategy, sourced investment leads, supported live investment projects, and facilitated Manchester's in-country activity including catalytic events and sector development activity.

The contract value was £33,000.
