About

Scottish Government awarded a contract to Alma Economics for the analysis of public consultation responses to the draft Climate Change Plan (CCP).

The CCP will define Scotland's decarbonisation journey to 2040, and public consent is critical for delivering its policy measures.

Following the publication of the draft CCP, the Scottish Government opened a public consultation and delivered a programme of public engagement to ensure the consultation was as active and inclusive as possible.

This procurement exercise delivered an analysis of the public consultation responses to codify, summarise, and present the evidence received, enabling it to influence Scottish Government climate mitigation policy and the final CCP.
