About

MINISTRY OF DEFENCE awarded a contract to Capgemini UK for the Defence AI Centre Tech Enablers Accelerator, valued at AUD 729,000.

The contract provides a technical team to accelerate the Technical Enablers for AI line of effort, functioning as an initial Technology Office for the DAIC under the DAIC Technical Head.

The work supports four goals: identifying required technical enabling capability and developing a Technical Enablers strategy and roadmap; developing and managing requirements for prioritisation by wider Defence Digital and Digital Foundry technology programmes; iterative design, development, and testing of initial enabling capabilities through prototyping to MVP/Alpha-level maturity, with priorities including facilitating AI project deployment to different platform environments, supporting availability and accessibility of AI Ready data, de-risking AI model management and integration, and defining and transferring knowledge to an enduring technical enablers team.
