About

THE LITMUS PARTNERSHIP LTD awarded a contract to Cater Link Limited for the provision of catering services at Shirebrook Academy and Stubbin Wood School.

The three-year contract, valued at £1,189,750, operates as a Guaranteed Performance Contract with a guaranteed annual cost, while the schools retain sovereignty over the meal tariff.

The service covers 792 students and 180 staff at Shirebrook Academy, and 120 students and 65 staff at Stubbin Wood School, a special school for pupils aged 2-19.

Meals for Stubbin Wood primary pupils are prepared in the main facility at Shirebrook Academy and transported via an interconnecting corridor for family-style service, while secondary and sixth-form pupils attend the first sitting in the main dining area to develop self-serve life skills.

The contractor is expected to review the current range of services and introduce innovative food concepts to meet diverse pupil tastes and dietary requirements.
