About

The Litmus Partnership Ltd awarded a contract to Aspens Services Ltd for catering services at High School for Girls, Gloucester.

The contract, valued at £740,000, commenced on 1 April 2019 for an initial three-year term, with an option to extend for two additional years.

The school, an academy with approximately 820 pupils, required the supplier to provide innovative, healthy food using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients prepared on-site.

The service must comply with school food standards, GDPR, and allergen legislation, with a particular focus on sixth form catering to support retention and attraction of students.

This was the first market testing of the catering service, previously managed in-house.
